Sunday School

There are many ways to get connected as a Sunday school volunteer. Please see the information listed below for ways in which you can help. The education hour starts at 9 a.m. at both campus locations.

Teachers

Teachers are needed for all preschool, elementary and middle school age levels. In addition, we will again offer a class for high school students this year. You may choose to teach for the whole year (a permanent substitute will allow for absences) or for a semester (Aug-Jan or Jan-June). We aim for two teachers in every class whenever possible plus helpers in the youngest levels. Training in the summer will prepare you to feel comfortable (Continue Reading...)

Teacher Substitutes

Substitutes are assigned to classes with full-year teachers. In addition, we need substitutes who can be called for whichever class needs to be covered. You can indicate your age/class preference.

Superintendent and Assistant

These people help the director with preparation and administration. They need to be committed to helping on most (but not all) Sunday mornings.

Chapel Team

The Chapel Team is responsible for planning and leading chapel times for four-year-olds through 7th graders each Sunday. We want people who enjoy presenting FaithWeaver Bible stories in creative ways.

Chapel Music Leader

A musical person who loves Jesus and children leads the singing in Chapel.

Pianist and Substitute Pianists

Our chapel pianist plays before Sunday School and during chapel times. We need substitutes on an irregular basis.

Storytellers

A team of four storytellers take turns providing age-appropriate stories, songs, finger plays, rhymes, pictures, puppets, or other creative means to teach about Jesus to babies, toddlers and twos.  If you have a flair for simple stories, this might be just where God wants you. At these ages, repetition is necessary and loved.
