A Woman’s Fund

Their mission is “to eliminate violence against women and children and until that happens, to provide safety and support to survivors of that violence as they take control of their own lives.” They sponsor three programs: A Women’s Place, which provides advocacy and support to help victims of domestic violence take control of their own lives; Rape Crisis Services, which provides crisis intervention and support to victims of sexual assault, helping them regain control and begin the healing process. Eliminating Violence through Education (EVE), which works to prevent these crimes through public education and school-based intervention with children and teens. Their needs/wish list: toiletries, make-up and other necessities that a new arrival to their Women’s Place might need.
