Jesus is the Way Prison Ministries

This Christian based aftercare facility for released state and county prisoners and is located in Rantoul. They can house approximately 20 men at a time and provide services other than housing for 40 men from the 600 men that the Illinois Department of Corrections and Champaign County Corrections release annually. The statistics tell much of the story. At the price of $500 per month per resident utilizing this after care, approximately 85%-90% of the clients never return to prison. At the price of $5,000 – 7,000 per month, approximately 75-85% of those that do not receive this aftercare support do return to prison.

Family living education
Life skills building; aptitude assessment and GED preparation
Bible based training and education
Spiritual guidance
Drug and alcohol rehabilitation
Job skills & development skills
Job placement
